Our New Gadget

One of the things Amber and I are truly excited about are the time lapse videos we have been planning to do for MONTHS! We created one late last year with an iphone app:

It proved easy to use, but left a long advert at the end of our videos, and to be fair the iphone does not have great quality when taking images. So we decided we really wanted to do these, so we upgraded! Introducing the newest member of our team The Intervalometer:

Oooh shiny! This little guy comes with the most confusing instructions for the simplest contraption ever. Finally after twenty minutes and a headache I figured out how to use this thing. Next was finding a way to compile our test shots. Thank goodness for youtube:

This was the best video I found and takes you step by step in using photoshop cs6 to compile timelapses. Our results let us know what you think:
For some reason youtube was down when I tried connecting so our youtube channel is Here.

Marchetti Wines

We are so honoured to have Marchetti Wines be a sponser of our first gallery event!  They will be serving three of their newest varietals;
Sangiovese:  "The original grape of Chianti." Gorgeous ruby red in color.  It possesses huge flexibility, finesse, and compelling acidity, including sour cherries and other small juicy berried.  Its vaporous tannins know how to seduce the palate.

Tempranillo:  "An original Spanish varietal."  Best known as the dominant grape of the red rojos in Spain, it's most famous wine.  Deep in color, essentially savory rather than sweet.  Hints of pepper, leather and tobacco.  Snappy, fresh and vegetal, but also masculine.

Cabernet Franc:  "An original French varietal."  Originally utilized as a blending grape.  Deep flavor of small juicy berries.  Color is intense with a sweet and spicy toasted oak on the palate.  Tannins lay silky and long on the finish.
Located at: 116 Fifth Avenue Suite E Olympia WA 98502, (360) 359-4288
There is a message in every bottle that words cannot convey;

Allow for us to douse your pallet with a bouquet of emanating notes only our lineage craft could conjure. Our integrity sees no minimums in regulations for our varietals. They are 100% pure without any other strands to hinder the point within a varietal selection.

Flowing forth from our French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels, are wines aged only with pure thought, which stems from 5 generations of winemaking, including precision and love. Marchetti's wines are absolutely crafted without any added sulfites.
